WaterTreatment

Water Purification Equipments and Plants

Water purification is the process of removing contaminants from a raw water source. It could be sea water, ground water, river water, or tap water. The goal is to produce water for applications with a treatment process designed to remove specific contaminants. Water purification is used for wide applications such as medical, industrial, municipal, and domestic. Methods include but are not limited to: filtration, reverse osmosis, distillation, water softening, deionization, carbon treatment, UV, and ozone treatment.

Corodex Industries excels in different types of filtration and disinfection processes, of especially reverse osmosis. We have partnered with Corodex Industries to provide this service here in Somalia considering there is no proper system already in place to provide this service efficiently.

Wastewater Treatment Equipments and Plants

Most towns in Somalia have no treatment plant at the moment and untreated wastewater is currently being discharged into Indian Ocean.

Wastewater Treatment consists of a combination of physical, chemical, and biological processes and operations to remove solids, organic matter and, sometimes, nutrients from wastewater. Wastewater is water that has been used and must be treated before it is released into another body of water, so that it does not cause further pollution of water sources. Wastewater comes from a variety of sources such as human waste, rainwater and runoff, along with various pollutants, go down street gutters and eventually end up at a wastewater treatment facility.

Wastewater can also come from agricultural and industrial sources. The treatment process can range from relatively simple to very complex. The specific process used for treatment will vary with the source and volume of wastewater to be treated.
